Dr. Christy Wessel Powell named Spring 2022 Societal Impact Fellow

College of Education Curriculum & Instruction Assistant Professor Dr. Christy Wessel Powell has been named a Spring 2022 Societal Impact Fellow by Purdue University’s Office of Engagement. The Societal Impact Fellows Program fosters the development of societal impact across mission areas for faculty and staff. The program specifically focuses on integrating societal impact in grant submissions and enhancing societal impact in black communities.   

Fellows will receive direct feedback from mentors on their proposals, with a special emphasis on integrating societal impact. These mentors are faculty members from Purdue who have a history of successful engaged scholarship. College of Education Curriculum & Instruction Professor Dr. Lynn Bryan will serve as a faculty mentor to the 2022 Societal Impact Fellows.
