VITAL research team receives Purdue Instructional Equipment Grant

A Purdue University College of Education team of faculty and staff led by Dr. Christy Wessel-Powell, Assistant Professor in Curriculum and Instruction, has been awarded the 2022 Purdue Instructional Equipment Grant for their project, “Video Based Innovative Teaching and Learning (VITAL) Mobile Studio for Online Instruction and Educational Videos in the College of Education.

Dr. Wessel-Powell, along with Jasmine Begeske, Dr. Luke Bennett, Dr. Helen Bentley, Dr. Virak Chan, Diane Gunstra, Dr. Adrie Koehler-Blair, Dr. Trish Morita-Mullaney, Anne Murphy-Kline, Dr. David Premont, Jennifer Renn, Dr. Bill Watson, Dr. Sunnie Watson, and Dr. Wayne Wright, were awarded $98,787 in grant funding to support their project.

 The Instructional Equipment Program supports high-quality and state-of-the-art equipment in undergraduate instructional facilities on campus. Funds are awarded on a competitive basis with priority given to proposals that support innovative and high-impact teaching models or student experiences.
