Annual Graduate Student Education Research Symposium

The Graduate Student Education Council (GSEC) will host its Annual Graduate Student Education Research Symposium (AGSERS) on March 29, 2024. This year’s theme, “A Culturally Responsive Post-Pandemic Education: Technology, Policy, and Innovation,” points to the need for new ideas as we were to pursue equity in an education landscape reshaped by artificial intelligence, politics, and a pandemic.

Opening speeches will be given by Jennifer McCormick, a Purdue alumna, Indiana gubernatorial candidate, and former Superintendent of Public Instruction. The symposium will also include a panel of accomplished alumni moderated by Dr. Heather Servaty-Seib, senior associate vice provost for Teaching and Learning at Purdue and a professor of Counseling Psychology. Students will present research in multiple formats. Purdue and education oriented organizations will also be represented at an expo hall.
