International Synergy Grants

College-sponsored international synergy grants display our commitment to an international focus.

Associate Professor Jill Newton received an international synergy grant for her work with Maymester in Tanzania, a study abroad program in which students work in rural Tanzanian schools. She interviewed students to study their ideas about student community service work and how those ideas impact their interactions with their Purdue peers and their Tanzanian colleagues.

Professor JoAnn Phillion received an international synergy grant from the college in order to develop an international cross-cultural development partnership between Purdue preservice teachers and Alison Bixby Stone School in Honduras.

International Student Teaching

Students can complete their student teaching requirement abroad through our international student teaching program.
