Message from the Dean
Innovation is central to Purdue University’s persistent pursuit of the Next Giant Leap. The College of Education is committed to pursuing innovation in learning that changes lives one student at a time, and we have built momentum with our Innovation Initiative (I2), a cutting-edge educator-preparation program that has transformed our teacher education programs and our other highly successful, nationally-ranked programs across our Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Studies departments.
This innovation will be achieved through collaborative and transformational efforts in discovery, learning, and engagement with the goal of improving educational outcomes for all. We are committed to making the College and campus more equitable and welcoming for everyone – in fact, the National Council on Teacher Quality recently named the College an “Equitable and Excellent” program.
Boilermaker educators are helping their students make giant leaps. Boilermaker educators are equipping their students to build a better world; Boilermaker educators have an ‘ever true’ commitment to lifelong learning. Start your Giant Leap in the College of Education and become a Boilermaker educator!
