Additional Requirements:

1. Candidates are required to attend and participate in a state, national, or international conference on English Language Learning (e.g., TESOL, NABE, AAAL, INTESOL, IN K-12 ESL) during the program.
2. Successful completion of the ETS Praxis content test: (5362) English to Speakers of Other Languages is required to satisfy all program assessment requirements. Visit: https://www.ets.org/praxis/in for testing information. You must code Purdue University West Lafayette (1631) as a test score recipient.
3. Completion of an online portfolio, which includes attendance at a state, national, or international conference on English Language Learning during enrollment in the program.
4. Four courses include field experiences in a classroom(s) with English Learner students (EDCI 51900, EDCI 52600, EDCI 53000 and EDCI 55900).
5. Graduate level students are expected to maintain a minimum Overall GPA of 3.00/4.00, with English Language Learners Professional Education course grades “C-” or higher, no “I” (Incomplete).
