Magnify is a long-standing College of Education program that provides small-group counseling for teens in the Lafayette area.

Currently offered at numerous alternative and public school settings within the Lafayette community. Magnify is available to schools across Lafayette on an as-needed basis.

Program officials work with guidance counselors to identify at-risk students who would benefit from Magnify. The program:

• Offers a small-group atmosphere that helps participants feel connected to their classmates
• Facilitates conversations related to participants’ social and emotional well-being, college and career readiness, and overall academic achievement
• Is a service-learning opportunity for grad students in counseling and development, who facilitate small groups and develop their skills as counselors
