Purdue College of Education’s online master’s in Education = #20 in U.S.
Three Purdue University College of Education master’s degree programs moved up in the top 10 in the annual U.S. News & World Report (USN&WR) rankings of graduate programs delivered online, two are in the top 15, and overall are ranked No. 20 nationally out of over 300 online master’s in education degrees. The new rankings were released Tuesday (Jan. 21).
“These recent rankings reflect faculty expertise and commitment to offering exceptional online learning across a wide range of important education-related areas,” Phillip J. VanFossen, interim dean of the College of Education. “It’s also validation of our long-standing position among the leaders at Purdue in the university’s online space.”
Purdue’s Curriculum and Instruction programs ranked No. 3, up from No. 6 in 2024, and its educational administration and supervision (Educational Leadership and Policy Studies) programs ranked No. 7, up from No. 11.
Purdue’s College of Education also ranked No. 7 in online education master’s degree programs for veterans.
Purdue’s College of Education online master’s programs in educational/instructional media design (Learning Design & Technology) and Special Education likewise continue to be highly ranked in the top 15 nationally, at No. 12 and No. 14, respectively.
