Dr. Valerie Schmitz is a practicing administrator and coordinator specializing in instructional design and school leadership. She has over 25 years of experience as a classroom teacher, K-12 administrator, policy consultant, and coordinator. Dr. Schmitz is an alum of HumanNext and the Authentic Leadership Institute – both of these organizations have had a great impact on her professional practice to design and support authentic learning experiences for children and adults. She is a certified iPEC Instructional Coach, ISTE Certified Trainer and National Center for Missing and Exploited Children volunteer. Dr. Schmitz holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and an Ed. D. in Educational Administration.
