Wayne E. Wright has two new book publications, including one with Vikrant Chap, a recent doctoral graduate from the College in literacy and language education.

In June 2025, Purdue University Press published a new book co-edited by College of Education faculty members Janet Alsup and Christy Wessel-Powell.

Springer published a new book co-edited by College of Education faculty member Marisa Exter.

“We need to understand what sort of guardrails we need put in place, both in terms of ethics of the algorithms and in terms of displacement of people’s jobs and careers,” said Bill Watson in The New York TImes about AI.

The College of Education’s Evaluation and Learning Research Center held a yearly staff retreat to reflect upon their 2024 accomplishments and plan for 2025.

The National Science Foundation Institute in Critical Quantitative, Computational, and Mixed Methodologies at Johns Hopkins University named Bryan J. Duarte as a member of the sixth 2025 William T. Grant Foundation Advanced Quantitative and Computational Scholars Cohort.
