About
I am a first-year Counseling Psychology PhD student and a member of the C.A.R.E lab led by Dr. David Stanley Jr. I work directly with Dr. Kristen Seward as a Graduate Research Assistant for the HOPE+SIMs grant. My current research interests include mental health disparities amongst racial-ethnic minority adolescents and the effectiveness of in school mental health intervention. I am also interested in early detection of anxiety, depression, and schizophrenia in minority adolescents and how differences in culture and life experiences affect the presentation of mental health symptoms.
