Courses
Students can choose the thesis or non-thesis option for their degree. Students intending to pursue a PhD typically select the thesis option.
- The non-thesis option requires a minimum of 33 credit hours of graduate courses.
- The thesis option requires a minimum of 30 credit hours of graduate courses plus six (6) credit hours of graduate thesis work.
- At least 17 graduate credit hours must be taken at Purdue University. Transfer applicants are welcome.
