OVERVIEW

Advance Your Career

Students typically—though not exclusively—seek a master’s Degree in Agricultural and Extension Education in order to enhance their practice as secondary Agricultural and Extension teachers. Though a master’s degree from any institution might serve the purpose of boosting salaries for teachers working in districts that (still) provide incentives for advanced degrees, a degree from Purdue conveys a level of integrity and rigor that both students and employers find meaningful and valuable.

This residential program has rolling admission. Applications must be fully complete and submitted (including all required materials) and all application fees paid prior to the deadline in order for applications to be considered and reviewed. For a list of all required materials for this program application, please see the Admissions tab.

What degree is conferred upon satisfactory completion of this program?

Master of Science in Education (MSEd) in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration of Agricultural and Extension Education. This information will be listed on the transcript, and the diploma states the degree objective.
