Research & Publications
My research interests include early personal-social development and learning in school and home environments. I am interested in learning how social contexts support young children's motivation (e.g., the development of self-competence beliefs, interest in specific content areas, early teacher- student relationships). I also study shared reading of informational texts as a context for learning and motivation both at home and school.
