Purdue University Constitution Day Celebration

Two students sitting at a table smiling at someone off screen. On the table is a sign with "Constitution Day" on it and a banner with an American flag pattern.

The tradition continues! Constitution Day is officially celebrated on Sept. 17, but at Purdue this year we’ll celebrate it on Friday, Sept. 15. There will be games, snacks, giveaways, and educational opportunities. The highlight is always the Jeopardy! style Quiz-Offs with a student competition at 11:30 am, and local and Purdue leaders facing off at 12:30 pm. Join us to learn about and celebrate our amazing U.S. Constitution!

Hosted by the College of Education’s James F. Ackerman Center for Democratic Citizenship, this event can be used as one of the six approved civics-related events which undergraduate students must complete to earn their civics literacy graduation requirement via the Civics Event pathway.
