Better Bison Club

At Benton County Jr./Sr. High School, we believe in empowering students to grow, connect, and make a difference. The Better Bison Club is dedicated to helping students become the best version of themselves—both in and out of the classroom.

Our Mission

The Better Bison Club is here for students who are looking for a positive outlet to navigate the challenges of middle and high school. Whether you’re seeking support, inspiration, or just a place to belong, this is your space.

What We Do

Each month, we gather to explore meaningful topics that matter to students, including:

  • Building healthy friendships
  • Addressing bullying
  • Boosting self-image and confidence
  • Managing stress and emotions

Every session includes engaging activities tied to the theme of the month, creating a safe and supportive space for students to share, reflect, and grow.

A Unique Partnership

The Better Bison Club is proud to be a collaborative effort between Benton County Jr./Sr. High School and Purdue University’s College of Education, through its Office of Student Success and Global Engagement and the C.O.R.E. program. This partnership connects our students with Purdue education majors, offering mentorship, fresh perspectives, and opportunities to engage beyond the classroom.
