Kelly is a 4th year Ph.D. candidate originally from Valparaiso, Indiana. She has over 30 years of experience in the field of second language acquisition, having worked in both public and private school systems in the state. Kelly has served populations from ages pre-K through adult, having worked as a Spanish language classroom teacher, Department Chair, Building Principal, Hispanic Liaison, University Supervisor for student teachers, and as a Limited Term Lecturer. As a graduate research assistant on Dr. Morita-Mullaney’s Project PILAR, Kelly was the team’s testing coordinator and worked with partner schools to organize the implementation of the evaluation platform that gauges student proficiency.
