Profile

Jamie Linville serves as Licensure Advisor/Officer for Purdue University, Office of Teacher Education and Licensure (OTEL) and the licensure liaison between Purdue University and the Indiana Department of Education. As a compliance officer, Jamie guides, and supports initial and advanced educator preparation programs, students, and alumni on teacher education program alignment with state, and federal licensure standards, rules, and mandates, monitors and ensures adherence to the same.

Jamie authorizes student Teacher Education Program progression and program completion, certifies licensure eligibility and attainment for Purdue graduates on behalf of the State of Indiana, other U.S. states, and territories, and internationally.

Jamie holds a Ph.D. in sports leadership from Concordia University Chicago, a master’s in special education from Purdue University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University. Her scholarly work includes a quantitative dissertation focused on academic support programs for at-risk collegiate athletes, and she has presented on faculty mentoring strategies at the Purdue Global MaPS General Education Conference.
