Amber Reed currently serves as the Director of Strategic Assessment and Accreditation for the College of Education at Purdue University, West Lafayette. She received her doctorate degree in Language Literacy with minors in Early Childhood Education and Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana University. Previously, Amber has served as a member of the faculty and Department Chair at Indiana University- Kokomo and Anderson University before transition to full-time administrative roles as Assistant Dean, Interim Dean of School of Education, and Dean of Global Education at Indiana Wesleyan University. Prior to entering higher education, she worked as a primary and elementary classroom teacher in U.S and international settings. In Dr. Reed’s work with accreditation and assessment, her focus is to generate cultural mindsets that balance building streamlined and sustainable systems while fostering positive, respectful, reciprocal relationships.
