Profile

Alissa Cress is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Educational Studies, focusing on students with gifts, creativity, and talents. She formerly served as an elementary school teacher and counselor and teacher for youth programs. Her research focuses on minoritized students and students from populations underrepresented in gifted education, teacher training, and parent and society perceptions of giftedness.
