About

Dr. Alison Warren is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Elementary STEM Education, as well as a former high school science teacher and K-8 STEM instructor. She earned her PhD in Teaching and Learning (Science Education) and BA in Science Education at the University of Iowa, where she also holds a teaching license in 5-12 biology, chemistry, and Earth science.

Research & Publications

Dr. Warren’s research interests include examining how authority dynamics influence the classroom learning environment and student dialogic patterns through the lens of generative learning theory.
