2 Boilermaker Educator student-athletes earn Academic All-Big Ten Honors

Purdue Athletics’ academic excellence from the fall 2024 sports season featured 70 student-athletes earning Academic All-Big Ten accolades, including two Boilermaker Educators.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten, student-athletes must be enrolled full-time at their university for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Nathan Walker, Mathematics Education (College of Science) (also honored in 2022 & 2023)

Sydney Yim, Elementary Education (also honored in 2022 & 2023)

Among the Boilermakers recognized is an elite group of 17 student-athletes to be honored by the conference for at least the third time – including Walker and Yim.
